Wilson [eventually went public because he] had first-hand knowledge of the inaccuracy of the claim. Shortly thereafter, the administration [began openly attacking] Wilson's credibility. When that didn't work, two unnamed "senior administration officials"...outed Wilson's wife as an undercover CIA agent..,placed [her] career in danger.., jeopardized the safety of her contacts...[and may have committed a FELONY]... So, who, exactly, was responsible for leaking [this classified] information?... "At the end of the day, it's of keen interest to me to see [if] we can get KARL ROVE frog-marched out of the White House in handcuffs," Wilson said... He named only...Andrea Mitchell...who...reported...the administration was "leaking his wife's covert job at the CIA to reporters"... The Wilson case has parallels... Prime Minister Tony Blair's...aides leaked the name of... David Kelley, who had questioned Blair's evidence on Iraqi weapons. Kelley committed "suicide" after his name was made public. The case of David Kelly, the British weapons inspector who anonymously told the BBC that the Blair Administration "sexed up" its report on Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction...gets odder and odder... a UN diplomat recalls asking Kelly in February what would happen if Britain and the US started a war with Iraq.
