THE MEDIA ROUTINELY REPEATS "BUSH ADMINISTRATION LIES" For example, The [Jewish-owned] New York Times, "the paper of record" printed an op-ed (26 Sept 2004) by Mahdi Obeidi, in which the former Iraqi nuclear scientist repeats THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION LIE that -- "SADDAM HUSSEIN EVICTED UN INSPECTORS IN 1998" ACTUALLY, a NY Times 18 December 1998 story stated "for the record": [UN Weapons Inspection Chief] Mr. Butler [withdrew] from Iraq...all his inspectors and those of the International Atomic Energy Agency, which monitors Iraqi nuclear programs, without Security Council permission. Mr. Butler acted after a telephone call from Peter Burleigh, the American representative to the United Nations. AGAIN, on 2 February 2000, the Times corrected its previous front-page story on the UN inspectors' leaving Iraq before the US/UK air strikes in December 1998. "Iraq had ceased cooperating with the inspectors but did not expel them. The UN withdrew them before the air strikes began." SUMMARY: The NY Times/US media LIED in 1998 but "corrected" the LIE in 1998/2000; then, repeated this Bush Administration LIE on 3 August 2002: America's goal should be to ensure that Iraq is disarmed of all unconventional weapons....
